I expected Casey Staker, owner and chef at Zest Kitchen & Bar to produce stellar dishes and cocktails for Eat Local Week. I am not disappointed. His restaurant consistently impresses with farm to table fare and drinks. I've never walked away unhappy.
For Eat Local Week, Zest Kitchen & Bar is featuring a heirloom Bloody Mary made with Five Wives Vodka , the tomatoes and veggies came from Frog Bench Farms, Mololo Gardens, and Diane's Garden This Bloody would go great with my favorite stuffed mushrooms with cashew cheese or the local cheese plate for a light and flavorful brunch.
Try a refreshing Watermelon Margarita made with Vida Tequila and watermelon from Mololo Gardens I love the color of this cocktail! It would pair well with spicy jalapenos poppers or chips and salsa.
A drink that would go with anything on the menu is the Blu-Sage-Peach Tea made with High West Distillery and produce from Utah's Own, Black Bear Orchards , and The Original Way .
