Downtown Salt Lake City Farmers Market - Tuesday nights
If you're a terrible person like me, farmers markets are all about the produce and not the people. I don't want to hear kids playing instruments, chat with weird jewelry makers or buy some damn goat soap, I want local vegetables and fruit.
That is what Tuesday evenings at the Downtown Salt Lake City Farmers Market Tuesday afternoons are all about. Starting at 4:00 pm and running until dusk, a straightforward row of farmers selling amazing produce pops up in Pioneer Park. Today I picked up a few green apples for my husband and some squash and cool black green peppers for a quarter each. All this beautiful food was the same amount of money as a Big Gulp.
