A very Frisch salad ....

Organic quinoa, zuchini, a touch of mustard greens for zing and a little sweetness from some dates, served over lemony kale & spring greens with garden-fresh tomatoes and a creamy garlic tahini dressing. $6.

I almost hate to say that Frisch Compassionate Eatery, a popular vegan restaurant, has the most scrumptious salads in Salt Lake City. It's true that nobody loves salad like a vegan, but anyone who tries the fresh food at Frish is going to leave utterly full and satisfied. Frish brings the lunch salad to a new level with a variety of tastes and textures.

Today's special salad was made in honor of Comic Con's arrival in Salt Lake City. Superfoods like quinoa and greens masqueraded as a tasty, quick, cheap lunch. The dressing was especially delicious. Garlic and tahini are always a winning combination in my book. And really, for only $6.00,  you'd be hard pressed to find a healthier, happier lunch in the city.
