Covering the vegetarian beat in Salt Lake City
I've been there, but have a hard time making a whole meal (for a family of 5) from there. What do you make?
I've never been! I want to go!
They had a lot of pre-made stuff and non-dairy cheese. They also have wheat-gluten so you could make seitan. Or you could just feed everyone cupcakes! :)
This place looks rad! I will have to check it out next time I roll down to the valley. On another note...I am looking to take some vegan cooking classes. I have been vegan for a while and LOVE to cook, just looking to take it to the next level. Do you or anyone you know have any suggestions on resources or classes in the SLC area? Thanks:)
I drive past there almost every day, but never have time to stop. Time to make it a goal.
This place is so great. I really didn't do it justice. They have an amazing selection of bulk stuff (including vegan parm) and lots of frozen stuff. As for cooking classes, they offer some at Sunflower Market in Murray. Here's the calendar from last month. http://www.sfmarkets.com/images/stories/eventcalendars/MUR16.pdfI haven't been to one, but I'd love to check them out. If I see anything else, I'll be sure to post it. :)
