Welcome to Negroni Week! Bars and restaurants throughout the country will be donating at least $1 from each Negroni sold to their favorite charity. Restaurants under Main Course Management will be donating a portion of the proceeds of Negroni sales to the Utah Rivers Council, a grassroots organization dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of Utah’s rivers and sustainable clean water sources for Utah’s people and wildlife.

Caffé Niche is a cozy and quaint neighborhood restaurant located at the corner of 300 S and 800 E in the old Grunts & Postures building. Their food is just as lively as the funky vintage clothing store - plus they serve booze, so it's a good trade off.

Stanza Italian Bistro & Wine Bar opened in late April in the building that was Faustina on 454 E 300 S in Salt Lake City. I was excited because 1. Italian Food and 2. any restaurant by LaSalle and Trio Restaurant Groups is awesome. When I saw the menu, I was super excited - finally, a fancy restaurant with PLENTY of vegetarian options!

The menu at Finca has recently gone under a huge renovation in time for spring. Chef de Cuisine Dallas Olson and Sous Chef’s Carter Light and Jaime Muniz (under the guidance of Executive Chef Phelix Gardner) spent the past few months developing the menu for spring. It’s bigger and bolder than the previous menus with approximately 40 items – almost double the size. New Spanish flavors and combinations to the menu are available, making use of great spring produce like asparagus, carrots, peas, spring greens and more. The better news is that Finca has expanded their vegetarian options (several which can be made vegan).
